Combined Surgery
Breast Augmentation using B-lite implants, Uplift plus Tummy Tuck with Liposuction done by Mr El-Gawad at Greater Lancashire Hospital
I started a weight loss journey in November 2024 using Mounjaro to help and after a 16 month journey, I had lost 4.5 stone but was unfortunately left with loose skin and sagging breasts. After loosing confidence to wear a nice bikini on holiday, I started to consider cosmetic surgery and so I began researching surgeons/companies.
A friend of mine had previously had surgery with Red Rose Desire and so she had recommended them to me, so I reached out and booked a consultation.
I had my first consultation with Mr El Gawad, who just by looking at me seemed to know and have the same vision as me. He explained what procedures he could do and what could be achieved, he answered all my questions I had and I had a lot of them and made me feel completely at ease.
During the consultation period, the staff at Red Rose Desire were on hand for any questions or queries I had and I was able to message Mr El Gawad directly to discuss procedures in more detail and for him to also advise me on what he thought would be best for me, he was also honest about what to expect post surgery regarding the recovery so I was well prepared for what to expect during recovery, this for me has been one of the best parts of my journey, the fact he takes the time out of his busy schedule to communicate with patients is invaluable.
I made the decision to have a tummy tuck, lipo and breast lift with implants and surgery date was set for the beginning of June at the Greater Lancashire Hospital.
On the day of surgery, I was anxious but all the staff made me feel at ease and I knew I was in good hands with Mr El Gawad.
Post surgery, I knew I was in for a tough recovery but again Mr El Gawad took the time to check in on me, he came to see me the morning after surgery and then kept in touch regularly, which made me feel like I wasn’t alone, as recovery can be quite a rollercoaster.
About 3 weeks post op, I developed a slight Seroma (which is a common complication), Mr El Gawad was on hand to assist me and saw me immediately to treat it, he truly is an amazing surgeon.
Nurse Elaine has been a god send post surgery, she has also been on hand for any concerns I have had, I have been seeing her regularly to check on my scars. Elaine is a fantastic nurse who takes time to listen and reassure patients.
I could not recommend Red Rose Desire enough, they take time to listen to patients and do not treat you as a “customer” and they don’t rush you to make decisions, I am now only 4 weeks post op, still sore and swollen but I know with the help of Mr El Gawad and all the staff at Red Rose Desire, it was the best decision to have the surgery and that it will be all worth it once I am fully healed.
